I’ve been talking with real life first time homebuyers who’ve learned the ins and outs of real estate the hard way. Next week, I’ll be posting an illuminating interview with homebuyers who fell into a money pit, so be sure to check back for that. To get you all excited, over the next week I’ll be sharing my best insider real estate tips on Twitter. Ok, on to that photo above. I know the Baby Boomers among you are cringing at seeing architecture from your childhood, but we youngin’s think the Mid-Century look is dope. This Palm Springs house is being called Swiss Miss Mid-Century (!!) and comes to us from 1958.

Stats: 4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / almost 3,000 sq ft. Salt water solar-heated pool, and the whole place has been newly renovated. It can be all yours for $1,195,000. [Via Take Sunset] [View on Redfin]

I'm not a baby boomer yet I don't think I'm a young 'un….but I know one thing for sure…I LOVE that house. I only wish I could transport it from Palm Springs to Portland, where the temperatures are a little cooler.

That house rocks my socks. I agree – the only way to make it even more
perfect would be moving it to Portland. There must be some startup
    developing a house transporter, right??
